Lucinek was never meant to run in our team. As a yearling, shortly after his successful harnessbreaking run, he got an epileptic seizure on the stakeout, right at hook up. Since then, he´s expericneced these attacks every time he got excited. Nevertheless, he was a beloved member of our dog family and loved living and playing with his brothers, and the rest of the pack.
Always a sweetheart and super friendly dog with the kindest of nature imaginable. But the lack of knowledge of the importance of supporting his vital organs, while he was on his lifelong antiepileptic chemical treatment, eventually led to losing him due to liver and kideny failure.
His loss was very hard on us, as we tried to do all we could to save his life. But it was even harder on his siblings from the C litter, which we consider a real twin litter. Especially Copilot took his brother´s death very hard and we had to have him inside the house for a while, reasuring him that everything will be ok.
His purpose in life was to bring out the positive vibes through his omnipresent smile. And as such, he never failed. He is dearly missed by all of us.
